Utility Worker II

The Keyes Community services District will be accepting applications for the position of Utility Worker II.  This position assists in the work involved in the operation, maintenance and repair of District owned facilities, including sewage lift stations and lines, potable water system, arsenic treatment facilities and other related work as required.  The successful applicant must be able to work some weekends and nights, be able to work independently and have good customer skills.  Individual must have a valid California driver’s license and be a high school graduate or equivalent.  Appointment is subject to successfully passing Competency Assessment Tests, a pre-employment physical (including drug testing), background and criminal history check.  Before starting work, applicant must present documentation of their identity and authorization to work in the U.S. and a D.M.V. driving record printout.

 

Applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., May 17, 2019.  A competency assessment test is scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2019, 9:00am at the District office for all applicants.  The top 10 scores will be selected for an oral interview at a later date.  A resume does not substitute for an application.  Postmarks not accepted.  Applications will be reviewed for accuracy and completeness. All statements made in an application are subject to verification.  False statements will be cause for disqualification or discharge.  KCSD complies with EOE and ADA regulations.
